We are looking for a construction laborer. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.
Responsibilities for the position:
- Place, consolidate, and protect case-in-place concrete for foundations, footers, aprons and slabs utilizing established methods and requirements for the project
- Shovel concrete and other materials as required to support the project requirements
- Load or unload construction materials
- Use of manual hand tools such as shovels
- Safety compliance and responsibilities
- General cleanup of materials and debris
- Install sheathing, hang drywall
- Erect scaffolding, ladders for assembling structures above ground levels
- Position and hold timbers, lumber, or paneling in place for fastening or cutting
- Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site
- Prepare worksites on specified locations
- Align, build and erect different types of structures and foundations
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines
- Assist equipment operators and other skilled labor when necessary
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
